For the second consecutive year, Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters has attained Charity Navigator’s coveted 4-star rating for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Michael Thatcher, President of the New Jersey-based charity rating organization, made the announcement. This is Charity Navigator’s highest possible rating. It indicates that Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its area of work. Only 32% of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have ever received two consecutive 4-star evaluations – indicating that Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters outperforms most other charities in America. designation from Charity Navigator sets Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters apart from its peers, and demonstrates the organization’s strength.
