There was recent coverage on WFSB/Channel 3 on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut and on the organization’s site-based program at CREC’s Montessori Magnet School in Hartford – the school hosts the program and supplies the “Littles” (mentees), BBBS manages the program, “Bigs” (mentors) in the program are undergraduates studying at Trinity College. The coverage focused on a visit to the Connecticut Science Center by “Littles” from the Montessori Magnet School site-based program. It features a short interview with Julie Correira, a Big Brothers Big Sisters site-based specialist. The visit to the Connecticut Science Museum was made possible thanks to grants from the Stocker Foundation and the Petit Family Foundation.
