Veteran Big Brother Sean Flynn is profiled in a recent Norwich Times feature story

In a recent issue of the Norwich Times, there was coverage on Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters and on the match relationship of Big Brother Sean Flynn and his Little Brother Logan. In April, Sean Flynn received the John M. Clapp Outstanding Big Brother of the Year Award at the annual NBBBS Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Year Awards event, held virtually this year for the first time. The award was created in 2014 thanks to a generous donation from Alfred Rosa, then a senior executive at the General Electric Company. Al was a Little Brother in Nutmeg’s community-based program more than 30 years ago when he was growing up in West Hartford. Al Rosa’s goal in creating the award was to commemorate the wonderful relationship he had with his former Big Brother, John M. Clapp – a professor of Finance and Real Estate at the University of Connecticut’s School of Business.
