Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut is celebrating National Mentoring Month in multiple ways. One way is via appearances on state media platforms where we can tell listeners/viewers how much we value our current mentors, and how much we’d appreciate others who might volunteer as mentors with us in the future.

One of our first appearances was an interview on Lite 100.5 WRCH-FM’s morning drive time/at work show. During the more than 4-minute segment Andy Fleischmann – President & CEO of the organization – talked with co-hosts Mike Stacy and Cory Myers about a range of topics: National Mentoring Month (January 2024), the ongoing need at BBBS for mentors, the match relationship of Big Brother Joe DeLutrie and his Little Brother Ocean, and the March 9 Big Brothers Big Sisters “Designing Big Futures” Gala at the Farmington Polo Club.
