For the 6th Consecutive Year, Realized Solutions Donates New Bikes To “Littles” in the Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters Programs!
Beginning in 2015, Realized Solutions, Inc. has donated 10 bikes and safety helmets each year to Little Brothers and Little Sisters participating in the programs of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters. The bikes are hand assembled by staff members at Realized Solutions. One of the lucky bike recipients this year was Little Brother Cristian, a mentee in our Beyond School Walls youth mentoring program at Comcast. A story on the generous donation – and Little Brother Cristain’s thrill in receiving his free bike – was written up in a recent weekend edition of the New Britain Heraldnewspaper. The New Britain Herald publishes weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Its circulation area encompasses New Britain, Berlin, Plainville, Southington, Newington and Wethersfield. The newspaper lists a paid circulation of more than 6,000 subscribers. Non-subscribers can purchase it at a large number of retail locations across its distribution area. The New Britain Herald also has a growing website and social media presence.
